In 2024, the two Ronald McDonald House entities serving our region for the past four decades united as one. Ronald McDonald House Houston and Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston/Galveston merged to become Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston is to provide a home away from home, supportive services, and hope for families with seriously ill or injured children being treated at one of our partner hospitals in the Greater Houston area.
Other services include our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, JoyFULL Eats meal program and comprehensive wrap-around care that provides a supportive network of resources to families of children receiving treatment for pediatric illnesses in the Texas Medical Center.
Each year our Ronald McDonald House programs serve as a home away from home for hundreds of families from around the country and world. In a typical year, we host over 28,000 overnight family stays for more than 1500 families as their children seek essential healthcare. With the help of our generous donors and supporters, we provide more than 250,000 meal and snack servings and help our families save millions in hotel, food and transportation costs annually.
