Volunteers at Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston are crucial to our daily operations, assisting with tasks such as organizing food distribution, family activity time, performing light administrative duties, replenishing linens, setting up donated meals, and restocking family lounges. Their dedication helps maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for families during challenging times.
At both Holcombe House and our hospital locations, volunteers play an essential role in keeping our facilities running smoothly. Volunteers offer a comforting presence and assist with tasks that directly impact the well-being of families, making their stay a little easier during difficult moments. Each of our locations rely heavily on the commitment of volunteers to help provide the services and care that families need.

If you want to help our families and can commit to a minimum of two 3-hour shifts each month, you may be a fit for our team. Please note that all applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check and complete the screening and interview process before being admitted to work inside our Houses or Lounges.
Please note: We are unable to accommodate court-ordered community service hours or probation-based service hours.
