Only steps away from your child’s room, our Ronald McDonald House inside Texas Children’s Hospital serves families with children in Neonatal, Pediatric, and Cardiovascular Intensive Care. The bedrooms are free to families on a space-available basis and must be requested daily. Speak with your child’s ICU receptionist or your social worker for possible assignment of an overnight room. For NICU 2, 3 & 4, please check with the unit secretary.

If your child has been admitted into an intensive care unit at Texas Children’s Hospital and you would like a tour of the Ronald McDonald House, please visit us on the 4th Floor of the Abercrombie building (by the orange elevators) between 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
There are 10 different Ronald McDonald House Lounges throughout Texas Children’s Hospital. The lounges are a place for families to regroup, rest and refuel any time of day or night. Amenities include comfortable sofas, a kitchen/dining area with complimentary snacks, a universal charging station, and more.
